Our Mission
Wilton's Service League of Boys is a philanthropic club for sons and parents to initiate and promote educational and charitable endeavors that foster community responsibility and leadership, as well as strengthen the parent-son relationship.
History
Wilton SLOBs was founded in the winter of 2021 by mother/son, Claire and Jackson Carbonier. Based on the premise of the very successful New Canaan SLOBs organization, which originated in 2004, their goal was to form a Wilton chapter that would provide high-school aged boys and their parents with the opportunity to volunteer and spend time together. In their two years of running Wilton SLOBs, they grew to over 110 members, supporting 8 local organizations, and have provided over 650 hours of volunteer service. In February 2023, in anticipation of Jackson's graduation from high school, they passed on ownership and leadership to the Zadourian Family and the Ryan Family. Co-Chairs Eamonn Zadourian (and his mother, Kathleen) and James Ryan (and his mother, Laura) have been active members of SLOBs and are committed to continuing the mission of Wilton SLOBs!
